Dad's speech

Dad's don't often get much of a look in on wedding blogs so I figured i would break the mould... Here is a short photos story consisting of severn images. I love it when photos come together to make little mini stories like this....

I have processed these photos all in black & white, firstly because I am a B&W whore & secondly because the light was so low with mainly candle light (which looked amazing) & the colour often turns to mush at these levels! Anyway enjoy this little story & get pinning (if your not on Pinterest, why not!)

Why I love this photo...

I shot this photo at Tara & Daniels wedding last Christmas at Shustoke Farm Barns & I love it. Why... Well maybe because it is a photo that shows real emotion... It isn't a group shot that was set up or posed, it's 100% natural, which is just how I want my photos to appear. To me this is a great example of what true, honest emotion really looks like & that is enough for me to fall in love with an image.

This was shot during the speeches, below are a few more also shot at the same time. My goal is tell a story through images with emotion & character. I know for sure that these four photos in this blog tell a story. YOU may not know the story but that is something which makes photos so valuable to the ones involved. The photo automatically transports you back to where you were & it shows you a part of the story all over again... That is why I love shooting weddings!
